The Wheat Ridge High School Career Explore program celebrated the opening of the state-board certified CNA lab with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, February 21st.

Vivage (a partner for 3 years), the incredibly generous donation of the lab and sharing the vision and IMPORTANCE of school and business partnerships, Jay Moskowitz, Drew Filchak, Susan Coulter, Red Rocks Community College for partnering with WR to provide concurrent enrollment credits for our students, Jennifer Krotech-RRCC Dean of Students Health, Carmen Stephens - RRCC Faculty, Elerie Archer- CNA Instructor, Wheat Ridge Manor for allowing the students to have the opportunity for volunteer work, internships, and clinicals, Nicole Eastman-Wheat Ridge Manor, Area Health Education Center of Central Colorado- For the monetary donation and programming for students, Mitch Fittro- AHEC Instruction Coordinator, Wheat Ridge Community Foundation- Monetary Support, Scott Fast- All his help and support over the years with Career Explore in general and specifically in helping us getting this program off the ground with his expertise and monetary donation, Ashley Maldonado and Jeffco WorkForce- Training costs and internships for students, Chad Meyers with SWAP/DVR for training costs and internships for student, Jeffco Public Schools: Matt Flores, Scott Allensworth, Jeff Fugita, Marna Messer, and Suzanne Ellis for allowing Wheat Ridge High School the opportunity to drastically "transform the task" for our students.
